Practical Writing Courses

Some of you may remember the early days of AOL. I had a workshop there called the Interactive Writing workshop. We met once a week and I ran the workshop under the AOL name LauretteA. We had so much fun back in those days. The internet was growing and chat rooms were a new thing.

Modern Teaching

I adore teaching. I miss it. I’ve been thinking for a long time now how I can get back into it in a way that makes sense for modern students. I’m currently finishing some courses and soon will be offering video lessons.

However, there are so many topics for writers that I can’t possibly cover them all. I’ll also be adding some links to what I feel are excellent courses in specific topics beginner to advanced writers need to know. Stay tuned as I add a Workshops section to this site.

Still Doing What We Do

In the meantime, we’ll still interview authors, writer articles about interesting topics and point you to the best resources. Word Museum has been a bit stagnant for a couple of years and I apologize for that. I hope our loyal fans are still around, both readers and writers, because there are some exciting changes coming in 2021 you won’t want to miss!
